Thinkers of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow: KET organises a theme based Competition for the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav

Payingtribute to India’s journey as an independent nation, for 75 years, KET organised a mix of events not just with the intention of showcasing talent, but also with the view of inviting suggestions for building a more robust India, in the next few decades. With this focus, the Institutional Cultural Committee organised a competition on the theme ‘What Indian Independence Means to Me!’. Students, faculty members and staff contributed write-ups and art work related to the theme. Their entries captured their feelings about their country and their dreams for contributing towards a better India, marching forward from this important milestone of 75 years. The essays, poems, paintings and collages truly reflected the achievements of the nation, in addition to bringing out the talent in different individuals at KET. 27 entries, comprising 25 competition entries and 2 non-competing entries were received and these were judged jointly by Dr Sandeep Sawant, Director – KMS, Mr. VenkatiMuttappa, Faculty – KMS and Sachin Mistry, Marketing Manager – KET. The following students and staff were declared as winners.

All entries were displayed in the foyer, on the Ground Floor, and were admired and appreciated by one and all who visited the campus.
